Phyllis Hillerman

Phyllis Ann Blackburn Hillerman, age 79, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at her home surrounded by family.  Phyllis was born on August 1, 1944 to her parents the late Elster and Fay Blackburn. She was the wife of the late William "Bill" Hillerman.  Bill and Phyllis were happily married for over 57 years.  Phyllis spent her days as a homemaker, caring for her family.  She enjoyed gardening, crafting, and scrapbooking.  She loved elephants, Dollywood, and Elvis.
     Along with her husband and parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by one sister, Emma Lou (Chuck) Boskee.
     Phyllis is survived by one son, Mark (Audra) Hillerman, two daughters, Tammy (Freddie) Mills, Amber (Barry) Wright, one brother, Kenneth (Joan) Blackburn, three sisters, Eve (Kenny) Ford, Juanita (Butch) Sheely, Linda (Jack) Tibbs, six grandchildren, Nathan (Savannah) Mills, Nicholas (Brooke) Hillerman, Lakin (Eric) Marr, Autumn (Tyler) May, Logan (Izabella) Hillerman, Scarlett Wright, six great grandchildren, Blakely Ann Mills, Jillian Mills, Amelia Hillerman, Payson May, Noa Hillerman, and Izaiah Mills, and a host of loving family and friends.
     Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Friday, June 7, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Roger Blackburn officiating.  Burial will follow in the Blackburn Family Cemetery at Pikeville.
