Polly Compton

Polly Compton, age 83, of Compton Drive, Pikeville, KY passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020, at her residence. Polly was born in Pike County, Ky to her parents the late Thomas Fields and Eliza Stratton Fields. Polly was a homemaker and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist faith. Polly was the wife of Bobby Joe "Whitey" Compton. Polly was preceded by her parents and several brothers and sisters. Polly is survived by her husband, Bobby, two daughters, Rebecca (Ronney) McCoy, Sabrina Compton, and one son, Kenneth Compton. She is survived by one brother, David Fields, one sister, Nola Sue Howell, five grandchildren, Jessica (Kyle) Sargent, Sarah (J.R.) Chaney, Chris (MacKenzie) Dotson, Samatha (Tyler) Gardner, MaKenna Compton. Survived by five great grandchildren, Piper and Mila Chaney, Koen and Zane Dotson, Harrison Sargent and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 25, 2020, at 6:00 PM. Special services will be held Monday and Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Compton Family Cemetery on Little Creek. The family has requested In-Lieu-of-Flowers donations be made to: UK Children Hospital-Lexington, Ky.
