Randall Wright

Randall Clyde Wright age 73, of Virgie, Ky, passed away March 30, 2024, at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Randall was born on August 26, 1950 to his parents the late Clyde Wright and Mae Harmon Wright.  He was the husband of Janie Potter Wright, a retired heavy equipment operator for Elmo Greer and Son Construction Company, and a member and minister for Hope Freewill Baptist Church.  
     Along with his parents, Randall Clyde was preceded in death by two brothers, Kermit Wright and Nolan Wright.
     Along with his wife, Randall is survived by one daughter, Christie (Gary) Bartley, one son, Gary (Katrina) Wright, four grandchildren, Alexis Newsome, Christopher M. Bartley, Cameron Cheek, Jett Wright, and a host of loving family and friends.
     Janie would like to thank the nurses, doctors, and staff of the seventh floor at Pikeville Medical Center. 
     Visitation will be Saturday at 11 A.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.   The memorial service will be Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Tim Tackett and Neil Coleman officiating.
