Randy Thacker

Randy Keith "Punky" Thacker, age 51, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Punky was born on March 6, 1971 to his parents the late Ruby Thacker and his grandfather that raised him Jewette Thacker. He was the husband of Crystal Brewer Thacker, they were together for 31 years, and a former employee of Reed Construction. Along with his mom and grandfather, Randy was preceded in death by his brother in law, Greg Brewer, and his sister in law, Angie Brewer Meade and father-in-Law, Harold Brewer. Along with his wife, Crystal, he is survived by his beloved Jack Russell, Rusty, that has been his beloved pet for over fifteen years, a special nephew, Adam Brewer, special nephew, Dalton Thacker, and his mother in law, Ella Brewer. Survived also by his Dialysis Family, a Host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and Devoted Friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday and Sunday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Monday, October 3, 2022 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jim Newman officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
