Raymond Darrel Thacker

Raymond Darrel Thacker, age 66, passed away March 18, 2019, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Raymond was born in Pike County, Ky. on January 2, 1953, to his parents, the late William Green and Dora Thacker Thacker.    Raymond was the husband of Zandra Ramey Thacker. Raymond was a retired coalminer and of the Freewill Baptist Faith. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, Eldon, Elzie, Arnold, Roger, Seldon, Donald Ervin; three sisters, Katherine, Betty Lou, Phyllis Jean. Raymond is survived by his wife,  one son, Raymond Dwayne Thacker,(Sandy), three sisters, Avonelle Blackburn, Carol Damron, Mavis Ratliff Norman and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00 PM March 20, 2019, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with church services Wednesday and Thursday nights at 7:00 PM. Funeral will be Friday, March 22, 2019, 1:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Freewill Baptist ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, Ky.
