Rena Jean Osborne

   Rena Jean Osborne, age 79, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Pikeville Medical Center.  Rena was born on Nov. 19, 1944 to her parents the late Oscar Greer and Leurena Wright Greer.  She was the wife of the late Larry Joe Osborne, a homemaker, and a member of the Gospel of Faith Church at Robinson Creek.

     Along with her husband and parents, Rena was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Greer , and four sisters, Orbenia Burges, Roberta Osborne, Charlotte Johnson, and Wilma Tucker.

     Rena is survived by one daughter, Kimberly (Brian) Staley, four sisters, JoAnn Brassell, Leah Barrow, Donna Dreher, Portia Horne, two grandchildren, Erica (Christian) Staley, Erin (Jason) Smith, three great grandchildren, Kolson Smith, Oaklyn Hunt, Callum Hunt, and a host of loving family and friends.

     Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Thursday at 7p.m. with special singing following.  The funeral will be Friday, January 5, 2024 at 11 A.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow at R.H. Ratliff Cemetery at Shelbiana.
