Robert (Bobby) Damron Jr., age 57, passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2018 at his home in Indiana. Bobby was born on Nov. 17, 1960 to his parents Robert Damron Sr. and the late JoAnn Alger Patterson. Bobby was the husband of Tammy Akers Damron, a truck driver, and a member of the Church of Christ. He also served his country honorably in the United States Army. Along with his mother, Bobby was preceded in death by his grandparents: Nellie and Gilbert Damron and Ruth and Harold Alger. Along with his wife and father, Bobby is survived by three daughters, Tabitha (Eric) Wallen of Garrett, Ky., Elizabeth Damron of Pikeville, Ky., Samantha Fuller of Whitesburg, Ky., one son, Brandon (Sarah) Fuller of Lebanon, Va., his step mother, Barbara Sue Damron of Pikeville, Ky., step father, Herschel (Ruth) Patterson of Yuma, Az., sisters, Angela Damron of Pikeville, Ky., Cindy (Brian) Forsyth of Pikeville, Ky., Diane Cole of Wixon, Mi., Dollie Foster of Pikeville, Ky., Connie (Jeff) Maynard of Oak Ridge, Tn., Dawn (Barry) Harriger-Bowden of Lewisburg, Tn., two brothers, Gilbert Damron of Pikeville, Ky., Roy (Jennifer) Patterson of Belle River, Canada, father and mother in law, Darrell and Della Akers of Grundy, Va., five grandchildren, Austin Blackburn, Lawrence Wallen, Bentley Blankenship, Liara Fuller, Jace Holbrook, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Donnie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Damron Cemetery at Little Creek.
