Roger Lee Keene

Roger Lee Keene, age 67, of Shelbaina, Ky., passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Roger was born on January 15, 1954 to his parents the late Kermit Keene and Iona Adkins Keene. He was a retired coal miner, auto body mechanic, and a believer of the Freewill Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, Roger was preceded in death by one brother, Kermit Jr. Keene. Roger is survived by two sons, Roger Lloyd (Crystal) Keene, Steven Lee (Stacy) Keene, one daughter, LeeAnn MacDonald, four brothers, Darrell, Richard, Randall, and Glenn Keene, two sisters, Rhonda Bogus, Denise Henry, sixteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, the mother of his two sons, Linda Adkins, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Jack Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Family Cemetery at Greasy Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lucas & Son Funeral Home.
