Rosetta "Rosie" Tucker Bentley, age 79, passed away from this life on May 16, 2021. She was born on Feb. 12, 1942 to her parents the late Roy Tucker and Della Thacker Tucker. She was the wife of the late Garvin David Bentley, a homemaker, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Rosie was preceded in death by three brothers, Delbert, Frank, and Jessie Tucker, and five sisters, Bessie Elkins, Essie Coleman, Linda Slone, Betty Anderson, and Elva Tucker. Rosie is survived by two sons, Brian (Dawn) Bentley, Barry (Michele) Bentley, one daughter, Jennifer (Kenneth) Frost, one sister, Marcella (Bill) Casebolt, seven grandchildren, Samantha (Michael) Phipps, Zachary Bentley, Rachel (Taylor) Chaney, Nicholas Bentley, Damon Bentley, Athena Bentley, and Layla Bentley, one great granddaughter, Rowan Phipps, and a host of loving family and friends. Rosie loved her family fiercely and never hesitated to help anyone in need. Her feisty spirit inspired many and brought laughter and love to everyone. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed dearly. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with A.B. Thacker and other old regular baptist ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Huffman Cemetery at Red Creek.
