Rosie Raines

Rosie Faye Raines, age 66, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center.   Rosie was born on August 27, 1951 to her parents the late Joe Sammy Slone and Zettie Thacker Slone.  She was the wife of the late Howard Raines, a homemaker, and she attended City Mission Church in Ironton, Ohio.      Along with her husband and parents, Rosie was preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara Raines, Jennifer Raines, one grandson, Howard Waylon Webb, and two sisters, Erma Jean Miller, and Sarah Jane Slone.     Rosie Faye is survived by one daughter, Donna (Bill) Dickess, one sister, Dephia Riddle, three brothers, Joe Slone Jr., Fred Slone, Lee Roger Slone, two grandchildren, Summer Cochran, Austin Cochran, one great grandchild, Easton Burchett, and a host of loving family and friends.    Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with a singing service Tuesday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jeff Cremeans officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
