Ruby Lee

Ruby Lee, age 89, passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2023 in Cookeville, Tennessee. She was born on Dec. 26, 1933 to her parents the late Curtis Burnette and Daisy Steele Burnette. She was the wife of the late Ben Lee, and a supervisor for Magic Mart. Along with her parents and husband, Ruby was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Ruby is survived by one daughter, Connie (Mike) Thompson, one son, Allen (Gerri) Lee, three brothers, three sisters, four grandchildren, Yvonne Lee, Crystal Davis, Casey Lee, Brandon Lee, two great grandchildren, Lexy Davis Smith, Shane Lee, two great great grandchildren, Oakley Smith, Harrison Smith, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 12 noon The funeral will be Friday, Feb. 17, 2023 at 2 P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Tommy Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamilton Jones Cemetery at Joe's Creek. In lieu of flowers , the family has requested donations be made to the Stone Coal Freewill Baptist Church
