Naomi "Ruth" Bartley, age 84, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020, at her home in Ford's Branch, Ky. Ruth was born on December 1, 1935 to her parents the late Elder Grady Adkins and Minty Brown Adkins. She was the wife of the late Sam Bo Bartley, worked at food city deli for twenty-six years, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Ruth was preceded in death by eight brothers, Lenford, Charlie, Barrett, Grover, Frank, Hiram, Warren G., and Reaford Adkins, and seven sisters, Margaret Katherine Adkins, Ruby Hall, Ona Mae Bartley, Fayetta May, Madge Mullins, Ella Harris, and Minnie Vee Raines. Ruth is survived by two daughters Pamelene K. Mullins, Margaret Ann (Gary) Minix, three grandchildren, Gregory Shawn Mullins, Brandon Chadwick (Michelle) Mullins, Corey Austin (Kaitlyn) Mullins, one great grandchild, Ariel Alexis Mullins, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Ford's Branch Cemetery.
