Scharline Kay Hampton

Scharline Kay Hampton, age 73, passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 at her home. Scharline was born on Feb. 15, 1947 to her parents the late Jonah Adkins and Norma Meade Adkins. She was the wife of Joseph Hampton, a retired insurance agent for State Farm Insurance Company, and a member of the Mayflower Unity Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Scharline was preceded in death by two brothers, James Adkins, Walter Adkins, and two sisters, Clara Gay Adkins, Glema Faye Stevens Adkins. Along with her husband, Scharline is survived by one daughter, Michelle (Jeffery) Case, two grandchildren, Hunter Case, Dawson Case, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, October 23, 2020 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Kenneth Childers officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Garden at Ivel, Ky.
