Shannon Scott Standifur

Shannon Scott Standifur, age 41, of Elkhorn City, Ky., passed away at his home on Saturday, April 3, 2021. Shannon was born in Pike County, Ky. on February 20, 1980 to his mother, late Destil Bartley Standifur and Donnie Edward Standifur. Shannon was disabled. He was a believer of the Freewill Baptist Faith. Shannon was preceded in death by his mother, paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents. Shannon is survived by his father, Donnie Edward Standifur, companion (Lola), a half sister, Whitney Tipton and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, April 4, 2021, 6:00 PM at the Bowling Fork Freewill Baptist Church, Bowling Fork, Ky. Church Services will be held both Sunday and Monday nights at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 6, 2021, 1:00 PM at the Bowliing Fork Freewill Baptist Church, with Richard Gibson and Jimmy Kerr officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashcamp Cemetery, Ashcamp, KY.
