Shelby Jean Coleman

Shelby Jean Coleman, age 83, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at her home. She was born on April 23, 1937 to her parents the late Cleo Meade and Nina Justice Meade. She was the wife of the late Billy Gene Coleman, a hairdresser and owner of Fantastic Beauty Salon, and a member of the Christian Fellowship Church. Along with her husband and parents, Shelby was preceded in death by two sisters, Nadine Dye and Zella Marie Epling. Shelby is survived by one daughter, Treasa (Joe) Brooks, two brothers, Tommy Meade, James Allen Meade, one grandson, Jason Lee Robinson, two great grandchildren, Aaron and Emily Robinson, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, January 10, 2021 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Neil Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
