Shird Robinson

Shird (Tick) Robinson age 86 passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Tick was born on Feb. 20, 1932 to his parents the late Shird Robinson and Rebecca Little Robinson.  He was the husband of the late Imogene Branham Robinson, a retired contractor, and a member of the Caney Creek Freewill Baptist Church.    Along with his wife and parents, Tick was preceded in death by his second wife, Leisa Robinson, one son, Danny Michael Robinson, one grandson, Michael Nathan Robinson, four sisters, Mertie, Ferbie, Vert, and Maudie, and four brothers, Kermit, Curtis, Lawrence (Dee) , and Thomas.    Tick is survived by his children, Patricia (Greg) White, Mildred (Kenny) Smallwood, Michael (Nancy) Robinson, Burma (Troy) Estep Jr., Timothy Robinson, twins, Jerry (Annetta) Robinson, Paula (Donald) Hampton, daughter in law, Sheila Robinson, two sister in laws, Loraine (Coupie) Robinson, Lucy Robinson, twenty two grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.    Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Thursday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Friday, March 30, 2018 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Greg White officiating.  Burial will follow in the Rissie Branham Cemetery.
