Spicie Jean Belcher

May 31, 1945 — December 2, 2018

Spicie Jean Belcher, age 73, passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018 at her daughter's home in Dandridge, Tn.  Spicie was born on May 31, 1945 to her parents the late Delano Mullins and Rosie Belle Wright Mullins.   She was the wife of the late Herman Belcher, a homemaker, and a member of the Dorton Old Regular Baptist Church.     Along with her husband and parents, Spicie was preceded in death by one grandson, Nathaniel Belcher, five brothers, Vilice, Clarence, Andy, Carl, and Franklin Mullins, and three sisters, Derothy Bentley, Mabel Mullins, and Gracie Baker.     Spicie is survived by one son, Danny Belcher, two daughters, Kimberly (Edward) Bourassa, Angela (James) Rutherford, one sister, Julie (Johnny) Hopson, ten grandchildren, Daniel, Andrew, Travis, Kayla, Hailee, Amanda, Ryan, Steven, Elizabeth, Savannah, two great grandchildren, Sophia and Dominick, and two on the way, and a host of loving family and friends.    Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Dorton Old Regular Baptist Church.  Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018 at 1p.m. at the Dorton Old Regular Baptist Church with Robert Osborne officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mullins Cemetery at Dorton.
