Stephan "Steve" Jan Goodman

Stephan "Steve" Jan Goodman, age 66, of Pikeville, Ky, passed away, unexpectedly, on December 21, 2019, at his residence. He was born, in Pikeville, October 9, 1953.  He was the son of the late Lacy McKinley Goodman, Sr. and Anna Ruth Campbell Goodman. Steve was retired from the CSX Railroad and worked many years as a conductor/brakeman at the Shelby Railyard.  He was a graduate of Virgie High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University.  He is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Goodman Ellenberg and one granddaughter, Emery Ruth Ellenberg, born just this year.  They reside in Panama City Beach, Florida, two brothers, Paul Howard (Jone) of Virgie and Lacy, Jr. of Robinson Creek, one sister Shelia Goodman Watson (Mickey) of Dorton; two nieces, Melissa Goodman of Pikeville, Paula Goodman Little (Joey) of Robinson Creek and one nephew, Bryan Pleasant (Paula) of Russell, Ky and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday, December 23, 2019, from 6:00 PM till 9:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at 11:00 AM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Randy Damron officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
