Thomas Calloway "T.C. Hamlin, age 90, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 at his home in Pikeville, Ky. T.C. was born on Feb. 27, 1931 to his parents the late Curtis Hamlin and Hattie Mullins Hamlin. He was the husband of Lenore Kincer Hamlin, a deacon at Pikeville First Baptist Church, and former owner of Big Sandy Motor Sales. He was also the general manager of Deskins Motors for a number of years. Along with his parents, T.C. was preceded in death by three sisters, Rosemary Arthur, Margorie Judy, Geraldine Sowards, and two brothers, Ronald Hamlin and Curtis Hamlin. Along with his wife, T.C. is survived by one son, Thomas Gregory (Mary Lou) Hamlin, one daughter, Nanette (Robert) Staggs, one brother, Larry (Susan) Hamlin, three grandchildren, Dave (Erica) Cecil, Drew Cecil, Preston Robinson, three great grandchildren, Anne Katherine Cecil, Margaret Calloway Cecil, Oakley Enrica Cecil, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 12 noon at the Pikeville First Baptist Church. The funeral will be Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 2p.m. at the Pikeville First Baptist Church with Larry Keene, John Lucas, and Bill Staggs officiating. Entombment will follow in the Johnson Memorial Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to Pikeville First Baptist Church.
