Tracy Kea

December 1, 1938 — October 1, 2024

    Tracy Kea Jr., age 85 of Bennettsville, went home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2024, with his family and friends by his side.

    Tracy was born December 1, 1938 in Hartsville, S.C.  He was a son of the late Tracy, Sr, and Georgia Carland Kea.  Tracy was an honor graduate from the University of South Carolina.  Tracy was a dedicated employee of Wachovia Bank for forty-five years.  He continued working in the bank after it was acquired by Wells Fargo and retired from there.  He enjoyed traveling, hiking, and was an avid animal lover.  Tracy was a man who was devoted to God.   He was a member of Bennettsville Methodist Church.  Tracy was a selfless man who always put others first, and always showed it in his daily walk of life.

In addition to his parents, Tracy was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Miller Kea; a sister, Toby; and a son in law, Donnie Delaney.  Tracy is survived by his daughter, Mandy Kea Delaney; his grandsons, who were the apples of his eye; a fiance', Jackie Bartley, a niece, Lou Ann (John) Sarkis; two special best friends, Snooks and Marilyn Coker, and many other friends he loved and adored along the way.

The funeral service will be Thursday October 10, 2024 at 11 A.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Miller Family Cemetery at Jenkins, Ky. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Main Street Methodist Church P.O. Box 456 Bennettsville, SC 29512 or Marlboro Civic Center P.O. Box 1 Bennettsville, SC 29512.
