Tunis Slone

Tunis Slone, age 70 passed away Friday, July 6, 2018, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Ashland, Kentucky. Tunis was born August 31, 1947 to his parents the late Jason Slone and Rosie McCoy Slone.  Tunis was a retired salesman of cars, insurance, and a host of other things.Along with his parents, Tunis was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, one son, Nathan Slone, and one grandson, Shane.Tunis Slone is survived by his daughter, Cherri (Dewayne) Slone Coleman, and two sons, Mike (LaTonya) Slone and Greg (Beth) Slone, twelve grandchildren, Alex, Andrea, Brock, Cole, Daniel, Eric, Heather, Lea, Luke, Micheala, Nathan Cory, and Nathan Dewayne; five great grandchildren, Ben, Elizabeth, Jeremiah, Keagan and Sawyer and a host of loving family and friends.Visitation will be Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 6:00 PM and Monday, July 9, 2018, at 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana, KY.
