Vadna Campbell

     Vadna Damron Campbell, 89, of Upper Chloe Road passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at her home.      Vadna was born on Feb. 13, 1930 to her parents the late Ed and Elna Damron of Caney.  She is survived by two sons, Eddie (Jennie) Campbell of Pkeville, and David Campbell of Butner, N.C., one granddaughter, raised as a daughter, Rachel (Matt) Campbell Dotson.  Grandchildren, Scott (Crystal) Phillips, Colley (Kela) Stevens, Cassie (Larry) Kilgore, Mattthew Campbell, great grandchildren, Harper, Huxley, and Hunter.  She is also survived by four sisters, Edna Adkins, Elimay Coleman, Yvonne Grater, Barbara Puckett, and special people in her life, Diana Lenox, Cam Colley, and Cathy Blackburn.      Along with her parents, Vadna was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Campbell, and siblings, Fayetta, and Charlie.  She was a homemaker and a faithful Christian of Freewill faith for many years.  She will be greatly missed.      Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m. officiated by Eric Bartley.  The funeral will be Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Holmes officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana.
