Vinten McCoy

Vinten McCoy, age 52, passed away on September 11, 2021 at his residence of Freeburn, Ky. Vinten was born on Feb. 6, 1969 to his parents Betty Jane Taylor McCoy and the late Verlin McCoy. He was a retired employee from Kellogg's Company and a believer of the Christian Faith. Along with his father, Vinten was preceded in death by one sister, Aretha Ann McCoy. Along with his mother, Vinten is survived by one son, Patrick Dalton (Darla) McCoy, two God Children, Colton and Hannah McCoy, three brothers, Luke (Versie) McCoy, Melvin (Shawana) McCoy, Verlin Jr. (Phoebe) McCoy, two sisters, Elaine (Leon) Blankenship, Darlene (Billy) Morton, half brother, Verlin Sullivan, half sister, Venisa Dotson, one grandchild, Cleo Isabella McCoy, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Cornerstone Apostolic Church at Jamboree, Ky. Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021 at 1p.m. at the Cornerstone Apostolic Church with Richard McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in the Billy Dotson Cemetery at Freeburn. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lucas & Son Funeral Home.
