Virgie Lois Osborne

     Virgie Lois Bevins Osborne, age 77, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at her home.  She was born on Sept. 21, 1947 to her parents the late Everett Bevins and Fonnie Avonelle Charles Bevins.  She was the owner of Argonaut Inc., (Real Estate, Energy, Bank Holdings, etc.   Lois was preceded in death by her husband,Lonnie Osborne, a member of Pikeville United Methodist Church, and a member of the Eastern Star.

     Along with her husband and parents, Lois was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Everett Bevins, and five sisters, Anna May Bevins, Aerma Gail Blackburn, Judy Carol Bevins, Peggy Ruth Bevins, Sharon Kay Copley.

     Lois is survived by one son, Tom (Neal) Osborne-Owens, one daughter, Alison Kay (Michael) Osborne Velasquez, one brother, John Bevins, one sister, Mary Sue Bevins, five grandchildren, Ariana (Adam) Velasquez Strider, Brennan Michael Velasquez, Thomas Zane Osborne-Owens, Emily Jean Osborne-Owens, Lilly Kay Osborne-Owens, and a host of loving family and friends. 

     Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Friday, April 4, 2025 at 12 Noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Guy Moyer officiating.  Entombment will follow in the Annie E. Young Mausoleum.
