Virginia Burden

Virginia Burden, age 90, passed away Monday, May 27, 2019 at her home.  Virginia was born on May 24, 1929 to her parents the late Ernest Hall and Sarah Hall.   She was the wife of the late Charles Burden, a seamstress for Dawahares and a believer of the Christian Faith.     Along with her husband and parents, Virginia was preceded in death by one daughter, Darlene Elswick, one son, Vernard Whitaker, and twelve brothers and sisters.      Virginia is survived by one son, Allen (Betty) Wright, two daughters, Gloria Jean (Rodney) Wright, Robin "Robbie" Billiter and her husband Roy, a son-in-law, Roger Elswick, ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.     Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Friday May 31, 2019 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Garden at Ivel, Ky.
