Virginia Burke

Virginia Vanover Burke age 94 passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Phelps, Ky.  She was born on Feb. 25, 1925 to her parents the late Dewey Vanover and Miram Johnson Vanover.  She was the wife of the late Wayne Burke, a book keeper for Mullins and Mullins Coal Company and Collins Lumber Company, and a believer of the Methodist Faith.      Virginia is survived by one step son, Michael (Linda) Burke, a special cousin, Neva Jo Kennedy, and a host of loving cousins, family and friends.      Visitation will be Saturday at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home  The funeral will be Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Sam Crawford officiating.  Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery at Beefhide.
