Wandalee May Hall, age 92, passed away Friday, Dec. 1, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Wandalee was born on April 30, 1931 to her parents the late Haskell Smith and Nina Coleman Smith. She was the wife of the late Edgel Lee Hall, a retired school teacher for the Pike County Board of Education, and a member of the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church. She also served her country honorably in the U.S. Marines. Along with her husband and parents, Wandalee was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Michelle MaeLeigh Hall, one great granddaughter, Rainlee Hall, two son in laws: Leonard Ray Panzone and Willie Lucas, two brothers, Marvin Smith, Flavel Smith, and one sister, Ann Asbury. Wandalee is survived by five children, Esther May Panzone, Sidney Carl (Letty) Tackett, Terry Lee (Robin) Hall, Gary Lee (Donna) Hall, Resha Marie Lucas, two sisters, Evon Miller, Carol Meadows, eight grandchildren, Jasmine (Josh) Burrus, Gary (Kandi) Hall, Brent (Erica) Hall, Chris Panzone, Justin (Jade) Hall, Jodan (Kasey) Hall, Mary Lucas, Erin Lucas, Thirteen great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Sunday at 7 P.M. The funeral will be Monday, December 4, 2023 at 12 Noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Sonny Boyd, Carl Sargent, and Doug Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Osborne Family Cemetery at Turkey Pen of Virgie, Ky.
