Willie Bryant

    Willie Bryant, 79 passed away Friday, January 10, 2025 at his home in Knoxville, Tennessee.  He was formerly of Sookey's Creek of Pikeville. Willie was born on March 28, 1945 to his parents the late Henry Bryant and Goldie Ray Bryant.  He was a retired truck driver on a strip job.

     Along with his parents, Willie was preceded in death by five brothers, Homer Bryant, Chester Bryant, Amos Bryant, Elmer Bryant and Earl Bryant, and six sisters, Ruby Conley, Helen, Ellen, Janet, Oma, and Opal. 

     Willie is survived by three children, Danny Bryant, Patricia Bryant, Sheila Bryant, three grandchildren, Dalton Chase Bryant, Paige Elliott, McKenzie Cook, two brothers, James Bryant, Charles Bryant, and two sisters, Ethel Walters, Bertha Walters, and a host of loving family and friends.     

      Visitation will be Tuesday, and Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Neil Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Compton Cemetery.
