Willie James Gearheart

Willie James Gearheart, age 60, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018 at the Kings Daughter Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.  Willie was born on Oct. 23, 1957 to his parents the late Claude Gearheart and Shirley Winfield.  He was the husband of Loretta Rollins Gearheart, a retired coal miner, and a member of the Hueysville Church of Christ.     Along with his parents, Willie was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Torres, one step daughter, Karen Sutter, two sister in laws, Georgia and Kay Rollins, one special niece, Tiffany Leann Moore.    Along with his wife, Willie is survived by one daughter, Jamie Lynn (Kevin) Gearheart of Grethel, Ky., one step daughter, Deana (Randy) Hicks of Crestline, Ohio, his beloved dog, Tinky, special nieces, Misty, Michelle, Terry Lynn, Pam, Peggy, and Ronda, special aunts, Sue Reffett, Catherine Howard, sister in law, Virginia Jean Johnson, favorite nephew, Kyle Bates, special friends, Roger, Mike, Helen, Terry, Gary, Pam, Louis, five grandchildren, Rachel, Bridge, Riley, Emery, and Beckett all of Ohio, and a host of loving family and friends.     Memorial service will be Thursday from 12 noon to 3p.m. at the Hueysville Church of Christ with Pastor Chester Varney officiating.
