Zettie Hunt

Zettie Hunt, age 87, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at her home. Zettie was born on May 25, 1931 in Pike County, Ky, to her parents the late Miles Coleman and Katherine Smith Coleman. She was a teacher aide and a cook for the Pike County Board of Education for many years and then worked for the United States Postal System, as a Post Master at the Kimper Post Office. Zettie was the wife of the late Dave Hunt. Zettie attended the Johns Creek Primitive Baptist Church.  Zettie was preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by two sons, Paul Hunt (Wilma), Douglas Hunt (Marlene), two brothers, Berlin (Sally) Coleman, Amos (Sue) Coleman, two sisters, Nora Hunt and Mable (Harold) Blackburn, by three grandchildren, Michelle Bevins (Anthony), Amanda Hunt, Nathan Hunt, two great grandchildren. Justin Bevins, Macie Bevins and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, May 19, 2019, 6:00 PM, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Sunday night will be visitation only.  Monday, May 20, 2019,  with church services at 7:00 PM. Funeral will Tuesday, May 21, 2019, 1:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Dave Hager and Primitive Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow at the Coleman Cemetery on Long Fork of Kimper.
